Case Window and Door was established on March 13, 1993, marking the beginning of a legacy in high-quality window and door manufacturing. Just a few months later, in June 1993, the company leased a 17,000-square-foot facility in Schenectady, NY. The building’s well-insulated and sprinklered structure, featuring ceilings up to 22 feet high, provided the ideal environment for precision production. State-of-the-art German machinery was ordered soon after, and by February 1994, Case produced its first prototype windows. These early models were showcased in prominent architectural publications—including Architectural Record (April 1994), Architecture (May 1994), Interior Design (May 1994), and Progressive Architecture (June 1994)—introducing the brand to the architectural and design community. As demand for Case’s products continued to expand, it became clear that a larger, more efficient manufacturing facility was needed. A seven-acre site in the Village of Green Island, NY, was selected for the new facility, and by November 2003, Case relocated to its newly constructed 48,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. This move positioned the company for long-term growth and innovation. Today, Case continues to collaborate with architects, builders, and homeowners across North America and Caribbean pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in architectural fenestration.
